Strange, right?
Recently, I found a weird video tutorial on gametrailers that claims to do so. Really, it’s a bit weird. Although, I haven’t tried it yet but it looks very convincing. If anybody among you ever tries this, please let us know about that. It will be good to know if it works the way intended to be. So, let’s start with the requirements for charging your iPod with an Onion.
Requirements:
- 1 White onion
- 2 cups of Gatorade or any other energy drink
- Screwdriver
- iPod and USB cable
Procedure:
- Make 2 holes on either side of the onion.
- Immerse that onion in a mug filled with 2 cups of Gatorade for about 30 mins.
- Wipe out excess fluid from the onion.
- Plug your USB cable (attached to iPod on the other end) into the onion.

can u able to charge up similarly to mobile
Well, I don’t think this will work with mobile too. Mobile charging require greater voltage supply. We can’t generate that much by an onion and a energy drink.
